HI FOLKS..SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN ON MUCH LATELY BUT I HAVE BEEN BUSY BUSY BUSY.. MEDICALLY I AM DOING OK...I WILL BE STARTING ON FEMERA IN APRIL.(ANYONE WHO CAN FILL ME IN ON HOW THIS HAS WORKED ON YOU WILL BE APPRECIATED)\ I AM ALSO GOING TO BE HAVING MY GALLBLADDER REMOVED..IT HAS BEEN A BIG BOTHER FOR ME FOR MANY YRS AND I AM SICK OF THE ATTACKS. I HAVE NO PAIN OR DISCOMFORT FROM MY CANCER...I HAVE A CYST IN MY OVARY AND ONE ON THE girl thingyL WALL..THEY HAVE BLOCKED MY FLOW OF URINE SO NOW I HAVE A PERMANENT CATHETER THAT GOES THRU MY BELLY RIGHT INTO MY BLADDER..IT ISN'T TOO MUCH TROUBLE ALTHOUGH I AM MORE SUCCEPTABLE TO INFECTIONS. THE DOCS ARE STILL AMAZED THAT I AM STILL GOING DESPITE THE SPREAD OF THE CANCER TO THE BONE..I AM THE HEALTHIEST LOOKING CANCER PATIENT I HAVE EVER SEEN..AFTER 11 YRS OF SURVIVAL FROM AN INITIAL DX OF STAGE 3 BC, I AM THANKING GOD FOR ALL MY GOOD FORTUNES. CHIN UP FOLKS..

Gail, As usual, you never cease to amaze me. You are one tough cookie and have the best attitude I have ever seen. I'm glad you are getting that Bladdar out. I know it has been a problem for some time now. I had mine out a few years ago and have never regretted it. Sherrie takes Femara and has had some real success with it for several years......I'll let her know you want to talk to her......AND, I'm thinking that maybe Grits is on Femara also........ You are doing good girlfriend....I'm sure that your happy marriage has a lot to do with it too.. Hugs & Love, Ruth

Hi Gail, The gall bladder experience had to be one of the easiest surgeries I ever had. I had it just before Christmas several years ago, was able to enjoy the holidays and very very little discomfort. I don't miss the attacks one bit, they were not fun. Wishing you the best and always enjoy reading your cheerful uplifting posts. Skeeter
