I am 1 year and 4 months out of chemo and I just had some tests done and I have a low platelet count. I have to see a hematologist on the 26th. Anyone else had this? I may have to have a bone marrow test which terrifies me. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any info either Linda, but I'm sure that some of our ladies have some experience and will share it with you.
I know you are scared and I'm keeping you in my prayers.
Hugs, Ruth

I'm sorry that I can't help you with info either as I never had this problem. I am praying for you though...a tip, try eating some dried beans/peas and baked potatoes/sweet potatoes....that's what I did while undergoing the chemo and I never had a low blood count. Hugs, Sherrie
