You need to check-in girlfriend............How are you feeling? How are your treatments going?
We worry when we don't hear from you in awhile.
Curious minds need to know!!!!!!

Ahh thanks guys - Things are going well - all things considered. I had my 3rd chemo treatment on my birthday (march 10th) and came down with a cold / allergies during recovery. Its still kicking my butt and I can't wait to feel normal again. I go back in tomorrow to get my blood levels checked - so I will ask about the cold / allergies. I say "/" because I'm not really sure what it is. I figured just a cold (runny nose & cough) but then it dawned on me today that my runny nose was clear - so its not an infection - wondered if it could be allergies with the whole change of seasons that just happened and everything blooming - I've NEVER had allergies before - but took an OTC allergy med and feel much better (well other than I didn't read the fine print and it caused drowsiness) LOL Hoping to be "all better" really soon - this being sick thing is NO FUN! ~Jolene

Thanks for the update, Jolene~ Sorry you've been under the weather. As you know, chemo weakens the immune system, so you're more apt to pick up cold (or other) germs. Hope you feel better soon. Personally, I had a "cold" three times this winter, and everything was clear. But, I really did feel sick. I also think it is allergy related.
Take good care!
Hugs, Karen

So glad to hear that you're doing well other than the allergies/cold thing. Hugs, Sherrie
