Michele went for her surgical biopsy on Thursday morning...............
I got a call from my son around noon.........They were on their way home, with NO BIOPSY..........
The Radiologist was doing the MRI to place the "wire" for the surgery and said......"well, there is nothing there".......He called in another Radiologist who agreed that there was nothing there.....They called the Surgeon and he sent Michele home with no surgical biopsy.......Absolutely nothing showed up in the (3rd) biopsy........The will do another in 3 to 6 months to keep an eye on the area..........
Don't get me wrong........THIS IS GREAT NEWS...........but GEEZ....what this has put everyone in the family through. We've all been worried sick for the past 3 weeks.........Now I'm wondering......Is this 3rd MRI any more reliable that Numbers 1 and 2, which showed something suspicious?? Well, here we are in Limbo again......This poor young woman is going to go through this for the rest of her life...It is going to be very difficult living her life with this much uncertainty.........G-D, I HATE CANCER!!!!!!
Thanks for the shoulder ahead of time.
Hugs, Ruth

Wow! I am thrilled she does not need another biopsy yet feel your uncertainy! what were the first MRI"s saying then. How about a fourth MRI just to be sure. This is so crazy! `` How is DIL doing then ? Is she uncomfortable about the latest news? We are so upset about my daughter's MIL for it sounds like a long journey ahead of her! Guess we shall put the whole situation in the hands of God for their is the hope!!! Blessings, Tigger

Linda, I am with you... I HATE cancer!! Even with great news, Cancer has struck and will always be the enemy. I have always said that once you have cancer, you always have cancer. It affects every part of your life. I am glad the latest news was good. God bless you! Kitty

Ruth, I'm praying Michele was granted a miracle! I know she will always have this beast to look out for no matter how many MRI's, mammograms she has....like Kitty said, once you have cancer you'll always have cancer to deal with in one way or another. I'm praying it won't ever show it's ugly head again in your family's life. Hugs, Sherrie
