With a heavy heart, my friend Colleen (babe) a long time member of FIT has passed away this morning. Colleen(babe), Lori(Gidget) and I(jolady) have gone through this journey together and shared some wonderful memories. Colleen had a strong faith and she is among the angels now. Attachments:

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this.....I knew she had a recurrence, but when we got this new site, we had lost touch.......I hate this new site.
I remember when you and the girls got together for your weekend retreat in Canada and what a wonderful time you had. I wish we still had the pictures, but they too were on the old FIT Site.
Jolady, if you can........could you send me the information on Colleen so that we can put her on our Remberance Board. You can put it here or e-mail me at Grinny44_4@hotmail.com. Take a look below and you will see what type of information that we need.
This was a shock, Colleen was so young and had such a great spirit......I know that you and Gidget will miss her terribly.
Gentle Hugs, Ruth

This is so sad. I had hoped that Colleen could beat this beast. I had not heard from her in quite sometime so I had no idea she was not doing well. My prayers are with her family and with all of you in Canada that knew her and spent time with her when you all met a few years back. I know from experience meeting someone first hand in person makes a big difference in how a person's passing affects you. May Colleen rest in peace and may God give her family peace comfort and strength. Love, Sherrie

I am so saddened to hear this. I knew from the old site that she had a recurrence. She was a spirited fighter. I know she leaves behind a loving family. MY thoughts and prayers are with her family and you and Lori. I know you are very close. Love, Sue

Joanne, Thank you so VERY much for letting us know of Colleen's passing - my heart is heavy with sadness !
I didn't get the chance to get to know her like you and Lori did - I can remember her gentle, compassionate personality from the old FIT site.....
May you find comfort in the precious memories you will always have of your friend, Colleen.
Group Hug to all, Julie

Oh, JoLady, my heart goes out to you and Colleen's other friends and family on her passing. She was a STRONG FIGHTER and an INSPIRATION to all of us! I wondered why we hadn't heard from her in quite some time. She is now in the LOVING ARMS of God and at PEACE with no pain! HANG TIGHT to her memories. I will be STORMING the HEAVENS for you and everyone who's life she touched. ((Hugs)), Gaynelle

I did not see that Colleen had left us.............she was such an inspiration, I remember her from the other site we had. Somehow I found it much easier to move around in and keep up with the posts. I am so sorry to hear that she is gone, we will miss her name when we sign in and yet she has really won the battle, just look where she is. It is hard for us to imagine, but she is missed greatly.
