RUTH, GIRLFRIEND...I HAD AN EXCELLENT VISIT...I'M STILL SCHEDULED FOR VISITS EVERY EIGHT WEEKS...MY ONCOLOGIST SAID THAT HE IS SOOOOO PROUD OF MY LAST TESTS THAT HE DOESN'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT TO UPSET THE BOAT, SO WANTS TO KEEP ME ON 8 WEEK INFUSIONS OF ZOMETA FOR AT LEAST 4 TO 6 MONTHS . I ABSOLUTELY TRUST THIS MAN SO ANYTHING HE TELLS ME IS OK WITH ME. HE SAID MY LAST TESTS SHOWED "NED"...AND HE SAID I WAS HIS STAR PATIENT AND EVEN GAVE ME A CHRISTMAS GIFT...A BEAUTIFUL JOURNAL...I REALLY AM SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE HIM...HE SPENT 5 YEARS IN THE RESEARCH LAB AT MD ANDERSON IN HOUSTON BEFORE COMING TO GEORGIA...I HAD A LATE APPT SO AFTER MY TREATMENT (I WAS THE LAST ONE IN THE CHAIR) 3 OF THE CHEMO NURSES, HIM AND I SAT AND HAD A LITTLE PARTY WITH SOME OF THE OTHER DR'S IN THE OFFICE AND PIGGED OUT ON BAKED GOODIES I HAD TAKEN FOR ALL OF THEM...WAS A GREAT DAY AND I'M SO THANKFUL THAT THEY'VE PULLED ME THROUGH THIS CANCER AND I'M HEALTHY ENOUGH TO ENJOY IT WITH MY FAMILY...SO SWEETIE, IT'S BEEN A GREAT DAY AND IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT CHRISTMAS...YOU AND YOURS HAVE A VERY BLESSED ONE, AND THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO! MUCH LOVE YOUR WAY, jANE
