2 cups flour 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup milk 1/2 cup cocoa 3/4 stick melted margarine or butter 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 1 egg MARSHMALLOW CREME FILLING: 3/4 stick margarine or butter, slightly softened 1 cup powdered sugar 7 to 7-1/2 oz. jar marshmallow creme 1 tsp. vanilla
Heat oven to 350. Grease 2 large cookie sheets. In a large bowl combine all cookie ingredients until smooth. Drop 12 heaping tablespoons batter 2" apart on each cookie sheet. Bake cookies 12-14 minutes until puffy and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove cookies to wire racks to cool completely. When cool, prepare filling (below). Spread 1 rounded tablespoon filling on flat side of 12 cookies. Top with remaining 12 cookies.
Filling: In large bowl, with mixer on mediu, beat margarine until smooth. With mixer on low, gradually beat in powdered sugar. Then beat in marshmallow creme and vanilla until smooth.
