WELL EVERYONE, IT'S JUST ME AGAIN,,GAILYWHALEY..POSTING AFTER QUITE A WHILE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I AM STARTING MY FOURTH BOUT OF CHEMO IN TEN YRS. I JUST FINISHED CHEMO LAST AUGUST AND HAVE BEEN ON THE CHEMO PILLS BUT THEY HAVE NOT KEPT THE TUMORS FROM GROWING...SO THEY WILL BE TREATING ME ONCE A WEEK FOR THREE WEEKS AND THEN ONE WEEK OFF..WILL DO THAT FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND HAVE ANOTHER CAT SCAN TO SEE IF THE TUMORS ARE SHRINKING,,,GUESS TIME WILL TELL IF THIS WILL WORK .BUT AS USUAL I HAVE A VERY POSITIVE ATTITUDE ABOUT MY CONDITION AND AM SOOOO HAPPY THAT SUMMER IS HERE AND I CAN GET OUTSIDE AND ENJOY THE HEAT AND ALL THE ACTIVITIES THAT GO WITH IT...CHIN UP EVERYONE..!!!!

Hi Gail do pray that the chemo works for you and that the side effects are not to bad but overall you have a great attitude and that is half the battle with the beast will be thinking of you

Hi Gail,
It's good hearing from you, but it's not good hearing that your tumors are not shrinking...........
Hopefully, this new chemo will be the miracle you are looking for.....There's a lot of new stuff out there.

WELL I WENT IN FOR CHEMO YESTERDAY..I AM ON ABRAXANE..ONCE A WEEK FOR THREE WEEKS THEN A WEEK OFF..IT ONLY TAKES ABOUT HALF HOUR FOR I.V. TO GO THROUGH SO IT IS A QUICK VISIT. THEY HAVE THAT PLACE SO WELL AIR CONDITIONED THAT I NEEDED A HEATED BLANKET FOR MY LEGS LOL. HOPING THAT THIS ALL GOES SMOOTHLY AND I CAN STILL ENJOY MY SUMMER..TALK TO YOU LADIES LATER..CHIN UP
