My name is Patti and I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma on Dec. 3rd, 1999. I have stage IV BC with mets to the lungs and bones. I only had one node involved and am ER+. My daughter Sarah (the angel in my life) actually alerted me to the lump in my breast. She saved my life. I had a mastectomy with no reconstruction. I underwent chemotherapy A/C/F followed by Taxol. I also underwent 20 doses of radiation to my jaw bone. I am currently on Aromasin, after taking Tamoxifen for 6 months, which failed. I also go once a month to my Oncologist to have a Lupron injection and an infusion of Zometa for my bones. I have remained stable for the last 2 1/2 years. I have a wonderful husband Uriah, a 7 yr. old son Zachary and a 4 yr. old daughter Sarah. I am so blessed to have found this site. It feels like family here. We will survive. I am a Pink Panther Warrior!!
