Thanks for the info, Ruth. I will definitely ask my PS about all of this. That was not even an option for me in July... wonder why??
I have an appointment in several weeks to schedule follow-up surgeries.
I am not happy with this last surgeon. No, let me restate this: I am sort of angry. Measurements were not taken, and when I asked about the new breast implant being smaller, he told me to go to one of the shops for an answer as how to look "normal" until the next operation............ the nurses came in to help me. Nope... not happy at all!!!

WOW Ruth...what interesting reading, thanks for the sites! Kitty, how have you been my friend? I'm not surprised you were a little angry...what a bunch of garbage to tell you after what you've been through...that's the difference between a "man" surgeon and a woman...I really believe the women are more compassionate and understanding! Hope you're doing ok and are feeling stronger every day! Hugs, Jane

Kitty,
I agree with Jane.......I think the women surgeons are a little bit more compassionate........but, Surgeons are surgeons..and usually have very large ego's.......They don't like to hear any questions from their patients...just that THEY are wonderful lifesavers........They don't think about the quality of life "after" surgery.
Hugs, Ruth
