I was diagnosed with left breast cancer, ER+, no lymph node involvement, but with sort of a large tumor. I had a double mastectomy in September 2009 and at this point am not sure about reconstruction. I willl keep an open mind to everything though. Oncotype DX put in high risk. Because of several unfortunate events since September my treatment has been put on hold, but I will be starting my chemo in January and then a 5 year course of pills. I just had my port-a-cath inserted two weeks ago and it is already driving me nuts. I see my oncologist on January 6th and will know exactly what is laid out for me. I am really scared at this point. So far I seem to go from "Gung-ho going to kick this cancer's butt" to a big ball of "scared to death". I am grateful to find this wonderful group and look forward to all the support that will be afforded to me. I will keep posting as events occur. Thanks again. Sweetiepie
