I have a friend who is up for biopsy of both breasts due to highly suspected padget's disease. Is said to be very rare especially in both breasts. Does anyone have info or experience with this?
This is my first post, had bc / infiltrating ductal carcinoma and ductal carcinoma in situ / with mastectomy in January 2007. I never posted but sure did get a lot of comfort/support just by reading all of your posts, felt like I was part of your lives, cried with you, rejoiced with you, just never let you know me...thanks for being there! Anyway, time to give back :-)

Hi Barbara,
It's good to see you posting here after all this time, although the reason is a very serious one.
We have a Section right above this "General" section titled "Cancer Links" where we have many links that might give you some information about Padget's. The one I found that may be the most helpful is:
www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/Sites-Types/pagets-breast
It always does my heart good to read a post from someone who didn't necessarily post on our Boards, but was helped and encouraged by our Site.....Of course, we'd rather get to know you better..lol but, I'm happy that we offered some comfort to you when you needed us.
We've had a few members over the years with Padgets, but haven't seen them around lately....Maybe one of them will spot your post and offer some information.
Hugs, Ruth
